A deck builder with a twist, Robot Quest Arena adds the element of movement and positioning to the deck builder genre in a fun and exciting way. The game’s art style is a big draw, it has very cute, indie vibes to it; presented in both the game’s card art and its adorable miniature robots. Between the random elements presented by the deckbuilding genre and the game’s multiplayer focus, the game feels fresh each time you play. Robot quest arena was my personal pick for board game of the year in 2023.
